Crawfordville, FL
Custom walkways and garden pathways that give your yard clean, dry routes and keep feet off the grass.
Crawfordville sits on sandy Wakulla County soil, a real change from the red clay we work with around Tallahassee. Sand drains fast but holds onto nutrients poorly, so new sod at a subdivision like Hidden Meadows needs a different establishment approach than a Killearn lawn does. Toward St. Marks Road, open pine flatwoods mean less shade and more direct wind, which dries lawns out faster than the oak-covered yards back in Leon County. We build and grade with that sandy ground in mind, not clay habits.
A lot of Tallahassee yards have a worn dirt track where everyone actually walks, from the drive to the door or across to the garden, and after our summer downpours it turns to mud that gets tracked inside. We build custom walkways and garden pathways that fit how you use the yard and keep feet off the grass and out of the mud. Walkways and pathways only; we do not build patios or retaining walls.
Crawfordville sits on Wakulla County's sandy coastal-plain soil, fine sand with low clay content that drains well but holds fewer nutrients than the red clay north of the county line. The terrain is longleaf pine flatwoods rather than rolling hills, with lighter tree cover and more open sun and wind exposure than Tallahassee.
A clean walkway ties a yard together and keeps feet off the grass. We build custom walkways and garden pathways that fit the way you use your space. Walkways and pathways only: we do not build patios or retaining walls.

“GR Lawn care and landscaping is great. Guilherme is great to work with and has very good rates. He lets you know when he is coming and communicates very good. I have been using him for a year now and wouldn't think of changing. I would highly recommend giving him a call for all your lawn needs.”
“I have been using this lawn service for over 4 months and am very impressed with what a hard working, reliable young man this is. Communication is great and the price is more than fair. My yard looks amazing. I even had a side project to clear away an overgrown area that he took on and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Guilherme!!”
“The owner is a wonderful individual who does an amazing job! From storm cleanup to roof blowing and pine straw maintenance, the work is always done professionally and complete. The communication is excellent and Guilherme really cares about pleasing his customers!!”

Yes. Wakulla County's sandy soil drains fast and holds fewer nutrients than the clay around Tallahassee, so new sod at subdivisions like Hidden Meadows needs closer attention while it roots in. We grade and lay sod to work with sandy ground instead of treating it like a clay lot.
